01Who we are

This website, quantumbeetle.ai, is operated by Quantum Beetle Private Limited (“Quantum Beetle”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in India. Corporate Identification Number: U62012DL2025PTC455040.

Registered office: H.No. 136/5 (Old No. A/57), Block A, Gali No. 5, Om Nagar, New Delhi, South Delhi, Delhi 110044, India.

Address for correspondence: A1/20, Second Floor, Safdarjung Enclave, New Delhi 110029, India.

We decide why and how the personal data described here is used. Under Indian law that makes us the data fiduciary; under European and United Kingdom law, the controller. For anything about this policy or your personal data, write to [email protected].

02What this policy covers

This policy covers personal data handled through this website and through messages you send us. It applies to visitors from any country.

Work we carry out for a client is governed by the written agreement with that client, which sets out how that client’s data is handled. This policy does not replace it.

03What we collect, and why

You can read this website without giving us any personal data. We run no advertising and we do not build profiles of visitors.

Server records. The server that delivers this website keeps standard access records: your IP address, the pages requested, the time, and your browser type. We use them to keep the site running and secure. They are kept for up to 14 days and then deleted.

Messages you send us. If you email us, we receive what you choose to send: usually your name, email address, organisation and the content of your message. We use it to reply, to discuss a possible engagement, and to keep a record of that correspondence.

Visit counting. Only if you say yes when the site asks, we count your visit as described under “Counting visits” below.

Please do not send us sensitive personal data, such as health, financial or identity documents, by email. We do not need it to answer an enquiry.

04Why we are allowed to use it

Your consent, for counting visits. You may refuse, and you may withdraw consent at any time.

Our legitimate interest in running a secure website, for server records. This is a use you would reasonably expect and it is limited to 14 days.

Your own request, when you write to us: we use what you send in order to answer you and to take the steps you ask for before any agreement.

A legal duty, where the law requires us to keep or disclose information.

05Counting visits

The first time you visit, the site asks whether it may count your visit. If you say no, nothing more happens and nothing is loaded.

If you say yes, the site loads Google Analytics, a service of Google LLC. It records which pages are viewed, roughly where visitors are, and what kind of device and browser they use. Google processes this on our behalf. We use it only to see which pages are useful, never for advertising.

You can change your answer at any time with the button at the foot of this page. Saying no later stops any further counting from your browser.

06Cookies and storage on your device

Unless you agree to visit counting, this website sets no cookies. If you agree, Google Analytics sets cookies whose names begin with _ga. They tell one visit from another and last up to two years unless you delete them sooner.

The site also keeps two preferences in your browser’s local storage: whether you have muted the sound effects, and your answer about counting visits. They hold nothing that identifies you, and they never leave your browser.

You can delete cookies and local storage at any time in your browser’s settings.

07Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing.

We use a small number of service providers who handle data only on our instructions: a hosting provider whose data centre is in India, which holds the server records; an email provider, which stores messages you send us; and Google Analytics, only if you agree to visit counting.

We may disclose information where the law requires it, or where it is needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

08Transfers to other countries

Our server is in India. Our email provider and Google Analytics may process data in other countries. Where data leaves your country, we rely on the safeguards those providers commit to in their contracts, including the standard contractual clauses approved for transfers from the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom where they apply.

09How long we keep it

Server records: up to 14 days.

Correspondence: for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was sent, and for any period the law requires, and then it is deleted.

Visit counts: for the retention period set in Google Analytics, which is at most 14 months, after which Google deletes the underlying records.

10How we protect it

This website is served only over an encrypted connection, and access to the information described here is limited to the people who need it.

No method of sending or storing information is completely secure. If a breach of personal data occurs that is likely to affect you, we will tell you and the relevant authority as the law requires.

11Your rights

Wherever you live, you may ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and withdraw any consent you have given.

If you are in India, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 also gives you the right to have a grievance addressed by us, and to nominate another person to exercise your rights if you die or become unable to. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to restrict or object to our use of your data, to receive a copy in a portable form, and to complain to the data protection authority where you live.

To use any of these rights, write to [email protected]. We may need to confirm who you are. We answer within 30 days, and we never charge for a reasonable request.

12Children

This website is for businesses. It is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, write to us and we will delete it.

14Questions and complaints

Our Grievance Officer is Achintya Verma, Founder & CEO. Write to the Grievance Officer, Quantum Beetle Private Limited, at [email protected], or by post to the address for correspondence above. We answer every complaint within 30 days.

15Governing law and changes

This policy is governed by the laws of India. Rights that the law of your own country gives you, and that cannot be set aside, are not affected.

We may update this policy when the website or the law changes. The date at the top shows when it was last changed, and the version on this page is the one in force.
